Tuck it in without fear!

Being plus size comes with a major con of having fat bulging out all sides and let’s be honest, no matter how body positive you are, or if you have just started out your body positive journey like me, there is always this sting feeling in one hidden part of your heart where you are a little bit insecure. Hence I wanted to try out a style to go beyond my comfort zone, and trust me I have never done this from the time my waistline started to ascend, and not forgetting to mention the tummy bulge!

Now there was a time when I tried to style my outfits in a way that flatters my body shape, I am now learning that it is absolutely okay to wear anything that you love, but still it’s nothing

trying to wear flattering clothes that flaunt your style and ofcourse your curves. So here I tried this look getting out of my comfort zone, a denim top and a black jean from Gia by Westside.
So the look is basically a mid waist black jean and a light blue denim shirt. Normally I would never tuck in the shirt and just leave it out, but I had to and it did come out super cute and chic. I didn’t try to choose same colour of the top for the jean or anything its family shade, as I wanted some kind of a contrast and I am a sucker for black, and I tied it tight to my hips with a belt (whispering… it was sadly a necessity to hold my pants)
I did not add too much of accessories, mostly kept it casual as it was a casual meeting with a friend and I wanted to be as simple as possible. So, the tucking in really worked out for me, it gave a dimension to my body and did not make it look very awkward. Voila, you have a great simple look for your casual meet-out. Do let me know how this works out for you or if you have got some more tips, queries do send me a message. Have fun trying this look ladies!
